Old Phuket Town, is an area of historical interest in Phuket City. Old Phuket Town is noted for Sino-Portuguese buildings on both sides of the street. Many old buildings have been converted into shops, hotels, restaurants, and museums. Popular Places in  Phuket Old Town is Baan Chinpracha, Blue Elephant Restaurant in Phuket Town, Dibuk Road, Jui Tui Shrine, Soi Romanee, Thai Hua Museum and Thalang Road etc.

Wat Chalong, the largest, most revered and most visited Buddhist temple in Phuket located in the Chalong Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District. It is dedicated to two highly venerable monks, Luang Pho Chaem (หลวงพ่อแช่ม) and Luang Pho Chuang (หลวงพ่อช่วง), who led the citizens of Chalong Subdistrict fighting against the Chinese rebellion in 1876 and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured.

Phuket weekend market (locally known as Naka Market), located along Chao Fa West Road just outside Phuket Town not far from Central Festival, and Park38. Naka Market is a fascinating jumble of secondhand goods, curios, pirated items, live animals and a large amount of great local food to sample. This Shopping heaven open every Saturday/Sunday around 17.00 PM. onward.

Patong Beach is known for its nightlife and Patong Beach is the true heart of Phuket with 1.77 mile beach that runs the entire length of Patong’s west side. Nightlife is centered in two main areas, Bangla Road. Both are lined with many bars, discotheques. Also in the daytime you can enjoy all the beach-type activities from sunbathing to beach volleyball.
